# Install the app

The app is installed on the tablet in the machine from USB. You do not download it to the machine from the Hub remotely — you transfer the file on a USB flash drive.

## 1. What to prepare

Before the installation itself, prepare:

* the tablet in the machine with internet access (Wi-Fi or a SIM with data)
* an empty USB flash drive
* the Spiroq app installation file
* your account's **Operator ID**

You take the installation file and the Operator ID in the Hub: **Machines → Create machine → Automatically tab**. On this tab there is the **Download spiroq app (APK)** button and the **Your Operator ID** field with a **Copy** button.

The Operator ID is your company's identifier in the Hub. You enter it in the wizard on the machine so the machine appears under your account. Without it the machine would be created without an account assignment — the assignment can be finished later through the service menu.

Use the **Manually** tab only when the machine does not sign in by itself. The usual path is the **Automatically** tab.

## 2. The file on the flash drive

1. In the Hub, open **Machines → Create machine → Automatically**.
2. Tap **Download spiroq app (APK)**.
3. Copy the file to an empty USB flash drive.

## 3. Installation on the tablet

1. Plug the flash drive into the tablet's USB port.
2. Among the installed apps, open **ES File Explorer**, the same way as any other app.
3. In the left menu, under **Local storage**, select the USB disk. It is usually labeled USB.
4. Tap the Spiroq app file, confirm the installation and the permissions.

If the system refuses installation from the flash drive, allow unknown sources for ES File Explorer in Android settings and repeat the step.

After installation, start the app. The [first-run wizard](/en/guides/navody/getting-started-and-installation/pruvodce.md) opens. The wizard is shown only once, until you finish it.
