# Machine is offline

On the Hub **Machines** tab the machine status is offline, but the app is running on the display and the internet on the tablet works. The machine sells offline, and the Hub does not know about it for a while.

First check the network. When the tablet has neither Wi-Fi nor data, the Hub will not show it as online — restore the connection in Android settings.

## 1. Wake it from the Hub

In the machine detail, tap **Wake machine**.

The Hub calls the machine. When it answers, the status changes to online and the page reloads. When it does not answer, a harder connection recovery is offered. Confirm it and wait until the machine signs in again. It can take about a minute.

## 2. Recovery from the machine

When waking it is not enough:

1. Tap the logo five times and enter the service password. The [service menu](/en/guides/navody/everyday-operation/servisni-menu.md) opens.
2. Open **Cloud connection (MQTT)**.
3. On the **RENEW CREDENTIALS** card, tap **Clear MQTT keys and reconnect**.

The app discards the old sign-in and reports in again. The Hub recognizes the machine by the tablet. **A second machine is not created**, and sales and slots do not disappear. After 10–30 seconds, refresh the **Machines** list in the Hub. The status should be online.

The operator assigned to the machine does not change with this button. When you need to change the company, use **Register the machine in the Hub** and the new operator's ID.

## When it is still not online after that

* In the service menu → **Cloud connection (MQTT)**, run **Connectivity test (DNS, TCP, MQTT)**. When it fails, the problem is the tablet's network, not the Hub.
* Restart the app from the service menu (Service menu → Device settings → **Exit the application**, then start the app again).
* Try restoring the keys on the machine once more.

The serial number in the machine detail in the Hub should match what **Device information** shows on the machine.
