# Price advantages

**Price advantages → Price packages** is available from the **Pro** plan.

A package is a multivend: the customer does not buy the products one by one, but the whole set at once. On the machine the offer is called **Price package**. One tap puts every product in the package into the cart in the given quantities, and the machine dispenses them in one purchase.

The discount is a percent of the sum of their prices. The offer is shown only when every product in the package is in a slot on the machine and in stock. If one is missing, the package is not offered.

This is not a pricing rule. A rule changes the price of one product by best-before date — see [Pricing rules](/en/hub-screens/hub/cenove-balicky/cenova-pravidla.md).

## Package fields

**New package** opens the same form as editing.

| Product                          | yes      | At least one product. Each product can be in the package only once, at most five different ones. All must have the same currency and VAT rate. |
| Quantity                         | no       | How many units of this product are in one package. The default is 1.                                                                           |
| All machines of the operator     | no       | The default is on. Turning the field off opens the **Machines** picker.                                                                        |
| Discount (%)                     | yes      | 1–99. It is subtracted from the sum of the unit prices in the package.                                                                         |
| Round up to whole currency units | no       | The package price is rounded up to whole currency units.                                                                                       |

Under the discount is a preview: **Catalog sum**, **Package discount**, and **Package price (catalog)**. On the machine the sum can differ, because individual units may already have a promotional price from a pricing rule. The package percent is then calculated from that price.

In **Compatibility**, the Hub shows which machines have every product in the package assigned in slots. Stock is not included — the machine checks that.

## Sync packages

Saving a package does not send it to the machine by itself.

Packages are sent:

* when the machine connects,
* with **Sync packages** in the package detail (to the machines the package targets),
* with **Sync packages** on the **Price packages** tab in the machine detail.

The machine must be online. Only **Active** packages that target the machine and whose products are in slots are sent to it.

When the plan drops below **Pro**, the next sync deletes the packages on the machine. They stay in the Hub.
