# Templates

**Templates** let you save a slot layout and carry it between machines. The page is available from the **Pro** plan.

On the templates page you find an overview of templates you have already created; new ones are not created here. The table shows the name, the description, and the creation date. In the table you can **Search** for a match in the name or the description. Clicking a row opens the detail. The trash can in the row deletes the template — machines the template was applied to stay unchanged.

## Saving and applying

You save a template on the machine detail [Slot layout](/en/hub-screens/hub/seznam/rozlozeni.md) tab. In the **Actions** menu → **Save layout to template**.

You apply it to another machine on the same tab through **Bulk edit slots**. First select the slots, then choose **From a template**. The assignment is prepared in the form and can be edited further. It is sent to the machine only after the bulk edit is saved.

A template carries product assignments and slot settings. It does not carry the stocked state of the slots.

## Detail

The detail shows the name, the description, the creation date, and the **Slots in template** table (slot code, row, capacity, and default product).

**Edit** changes only **Name** and **Description**. The slot layout in the template is not changed from here. Save a new layout again from [Slot layout](/en/hub-screens/hub/seznam/rozlozeni.md).
